Audinate is the leading provider of professional digital audio networking technologies globally. Audinate's Dante platform distributes digital audio signals over computer networks, and is designed to bring the benefits of IT networking to the professional AV industry. Using Dante-enabled products ensures interoperability between audio devices and allows end users to enjoy high quality, flexible solutions—typically with a lower total cost of ownership.
The Dante Certification Program is designed to help audio installers, designers and operators to understand and use Dante audio networking in their projects. It is not intended to be or replace a general network training course, nor is broad knowledge of IP networking necessary in order to build and use Dante systems.
Level 1 of the Dante Certification provides a background in digital audio concepts. It covers basic automatic and signal routing using Dante Controller, setting up Dante in simple systems and using Dante Virtual Soundcard to record audio. Level 1 may be all you need to successfully use smaller Dante networks, typically with 6 or so devices and 1 network switch.
Level 2 Certification is next step in gaining knowledge of Dante audio systems. It covers proficiency of intermediate Dante audio networking concepts, including Dante redundancy, clocking, latency and multicast.
Dirigent Acoustics provides Dante Certification Trainings, and our Head of Audio is a certified Dante Trainer for Dante Certification Level 1 and Level 2.
