GRAMACA is a drone-powered device for aerial surveying and mapping used in noise pollution measurement. GeoGis, together with two top research institutes – Institute of Physics and Institute Mihajlo Pupin – and the company Dirigent Acoustics, will develop an airborne graphene acoustic camera for surveying of noise sources and implementing them in geographic information systems (GIS). This technology takes noise surveying to a new level, offering the most advanced automated solution for noise mapping that will dramatically cut down human resource costs and measurement time, while increasing measurement quality. The new service of noise source mapping will have significant impact on the environmental, noise abatement, and smart city industries and markets, raising the quality of life in urban areas near roads, railroads, airports, factories, and other significant noise sources.
